Peggy Filock, MT-BC NICU MT CIMI
Peggy Filock received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Studies and Music Therapy from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She received her Board Certification in Music Therapy and went on to receive her certification as a NICU Music Therapist from the National Infant and Child Institute at Florida State University/Orlando Hospital. She is trained in the techniques of Multi Modal Stimulation and Bright Start Music Therapy.
Peggy is a certified provider of The Listening Program and received her training from Advanced Brain Technologies in NY, NY. The Listening Program utilizes psycho acoustically modified classical music to improve auditory processing problems.
Peggy is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. She received her training from The Loving Touch Foundation through the Swedish Institute of Massage in NYC, NY.
Her most recent training has been in the field of Music Therapy in Palliative Care for adults and children. This training was received through Hospice of Palm Beach County.
Peggy resides in the Artist’s Acres area of Englewood on the Gulf Coast and services Charlotte and Sarasota counties.
